Introduction to the Modules
The first lecture of the semester covered the ins and outs of the design modules, DES512, Major Project and DES513, Design Presentation and Reporting. We discussed the marking scheme and deliverables for each of these modules, and outlined what makes a great Major Project.
Deliverables and Deadlines
We covered the deliverables for the two modules, listed below:
- The Major Project
- A 500 Word Post Project Report
- A Portfolio Website
- A Major Project Progress Log
- The Viva
We also some important dates for your diary: The deadline for the Portfolio site, the 18th February 2010, 4.15pm and the deadline for the Major Project Soft Launch, which is the 25th March 2010, also at 4.15pm.
