08 | CRIT on Design Specification & Brand Guidelines

This week's lecture will be a Crit session on Design Specification & Brand Guidelines which will be attended by Garrett Mullan. This will be a further opportunity for teams to gauge Garrett's reactions to their Show Racism the Red Card branding and their proposals for the redesign of the website.

Specific feedback will be given highlighting exemplary work and denoting potential areas of improvement to enable students to revise design ideas prior to choosing the team brand.

Each student homework’s (2.1, 2.2 & 2.3) should be completed and linked from your homepage by 10am on Thursday 18th March.

Because there will be no lab sessions on St. Pat's Day please upload your team's design specification and questions you would like the client to consider on Tuesday 16th March (as early as possible) to the groups Design Application Group Work page.

Garrett has said that he will endeavour to look through the team websites and that some of the other SRTRC board members will also do so. So please ensure that 'Questions for the client' are prominently displayed on your team webspace. It would also be preferable if every team had their work on the 'Workspace' intranet site to minimise the amount of digging around the client has to do.

You can also find the Creative Competition entries on the following url: http://eightymph.com/srtrc_competition/

The competition will be judged on Monday 15.03.10 and winners will be announced at a big event in UCD on Tuesday 23.03.10. All of which is great in that these materials are available for you to use in both this site design and also for George Moore's web app assignment.
