Visiting Lecturer – Michael Taylor
Hope you all enjoyed todays lecture from Michael Taylor.
With an obvious passion for the subject I hope Michael gave you an insight into the business and the importance of a good solid knowledge of the theory and history of art and design.
As mentioned I don't see too much in the way of design diaries and considering we will be looking at your work at next weeks crit session a lot of people have a lot of work to catch up on!
Your design diaries should be tracking the shots you have been taking over the last few weeks and showing your research into some of the photographers you have come across both through the lectures and your own discovery. It would also be good to see your own understanding of the topics we have asked for, form, colour, texture and pattern and how these may have been approached by other photographers.
